The University Center of El-Tarf organizes a Mediterranean seminar entitled : pastures, feeding and livestock  health. This seminar will constitute a forum of contact between academic researchers and professional of the sector. It will offer the possibilities to exchange visions and strategies in order to valorize the natural resources. It will permit to sum up the place of the fodder production according to the new ecological and socioeconomic deals. 
    The following topics will be presented : 
Ø Permanent and temporary grazing and their management. 
Ø Grazings and Grazinglands. 
Ø Floristic diversity of Rangeland, their management and preservation. 
Ø Animal nutrition : quantitative/qualitative aspect and nutritional problems.

Ø Plant feed intoxication

Ø Valorization of the ecotypes fodder and sustainable development. 

A post-seminary tour will take place on last day with organised visits of the wetlands and RAMSAR sites. 

A round table will be organised last day before closing session. A set of recommendations will be pulled from the discussions.
